New to saltwater

I Really Love the Mandrain but I do think that for now with the tank I have It's best to wait for them! SO that being said, No choco star and No Mandrain, whats a good set up with other fish I listed, or even if some has a suggestion, Guess it best to figure out my stocking ideas before setting up the tank right?:sfish:

Your stock list will change a thousand times as you go along in the hobby.:D
But I'd start with maybe a pair of fire fish,a blenny of some sort, and maybe a pair of clowns to get your feet wet.
But I can guarantee that the more you research and look at your LFS,the more fish your gonna find that you really like.

So, I do like some fromia stars so I'd like atleast one of them in the tank, I like sixline and clowns, would they be ok together. Than, the fire fish and goby or blennie? Also what all do I need to start buying for this tank, it's a 29gal bow front.

I think everyone has you covered on the fish side of things. But I would think about drilling your tank before you fill it as well. Most people dont like hang on back filters and they can be a pain. And HOB overflows ive heard can be frustrating also.

Drilling your tank keeps everything clean also, this alows you to have a sump tank, thus adding a little water volume, and hide all of your equipment. Just a thought for ya. :)
Welcome to the site :)

Hey guys,
Well im 24 years old and have been in the fishtank hobby for 4-5 years now, All fresh water tho! I REALLY REALLY want to start a small saltwater tank with some corals and a few fish/starfish. I have a 29gal bow front tank that was freshwater and now has nothing, What do I need to do to get started? Also what would a nice tank of that size cost to maintain monthly?:helm2:

I have a 29G and it takes less time than than the larger tanks,
