New "canopy"

Yeah, and I have a bowfront so I am still scratching my head trying to figure that one out. Any ideas?

I was thinking about this one...

I was thinking maybe get a glass lid and cut the round parts off then do the rest screen? Or you could get a custom cut piece of glass...

It's a pain but I don't see how else to do it.

Thanks, this is helpful. I have a glass lid now and I am getting tired of having to clean the salt creep off of it. I'm gonna try and conquer this project tomorrow evening after work. Wish me luck because I've never been much of a DIY person. Gonna also try and put hinges on it.

Such great and simple solution! How is the buildup of salt creep though? More or less than other setups?

If I was to do this with a enclosed canopy, how would I keep the salt from building up on the light?

I had this on an enclosed canopy with no issues, but my light was also almost nine inches off the surface of the water.
