Needle Wheel Pump Selection

For a 4" diameter, 3.5' tall DIY skimmer, what is a good needle wheel pump? I have seen a couple like the Gen X and Catalina Aquarium brands. The tank this skimmer is for is a 50 gallon with a 10 gallon sump.

Does a pump like this create bubbles on it's own? I am not sure.

I found this pump on Amazon. ANy opinions on this one working with my application?
