That is a beautiful tank. I love all the different colors and its really amazing looking. I really love that sun coral the most those to me are the prettiest coral IMO.
Great tank. I know its been said that it is overstocked. But man do i love it. Love the colors , love the fish and love the corals. Keep up the good work.
Sarah I only have 11 fish now that the Coral Beauty died, do you still think its too many, the only big fish are the Tangs (2) 250LYou have too many fish. Overstocking can cause high nitrates, because fish waste turns into nitrates.
Your tank is about 60 gallons. The general rule of thumb in saltwater is 1 fish per 10 gallons -- so 6 fish in a 60 gallon/250 liter tank. Of course, this will vary if the fish are big or small. But you are still about double a healthy stocking thanks Sarah, so is over stocking the only reason my nitrates are at 20mg/l, what will it affect besides algae? will it give problems to any of my corals,my acropora and montipora don't seem to be doing so well, could it be nitrates?
