i add a second power head to my tank yesterday i got a marineland 900 already had a 600 well it was way to noisy so i took it back today and ended up getting a koralia 1150 to replace it. when i took it back the lfs owner tested it heard how load it went back got the other he had it was the same so he took them out of his system lol said he wont get anymore of them lol

oh yea i was way louder them my return pump i could hear it over the tv lol and i think its bugging my clowns cuz anytime i go to the they r right there and after i put the 900 in they would hide

You return looks like it could use some water. You should take the anemone back asap you tank is not mature yet and will not be a good place for the nem. Everyone recommends waiting atleast 1 year before adding a nem.

look i have talk to many people about my tank and the nem and if you really research it most say 6 months my tank is mature enough for the men you dont know my tank and how i take care of it please dont judge me and my tank and ill say this i have IMO one of the most respected person on this site and he told me to go for the men.

the substrate is getting changed out but it isnt a problem right now my nitrates are 1ppm and what cyano algae i had is gone i dont mind people giving advise but no one no's how I take care of my tank but me i am very picky with my tank i test all parameters weekly and at least a 10 gal water change weekly i dont have big swings with ph salinity or water temp i have never had a mini cycle with my tank other then when i add 44 pounds of dry rock and i didnt have anything in my tank at that point. im not trying to mean or rude but IMO everyone's tank is different and mature at different times if i didnt feel my tank wasnt ready i wouldnt have gotten it im not out to just throw a bunch of stuff in my tank just to watch it die

it a purple base bubble tip i have a quad 48" t-5 HO light witch was told is just fine for just about anything i want to put in the tank to just keep in mind that sps corals may need to be put in the upper half of the tank

I have the same size tank. Yes, a 4 bulb would be fine for all Softies, LPS, and most SPS. Still, just my personal opinion, I'd recommend getting another double bulb fixture. Also, how much flow do you have in the tank, and is the nem anchored down? Or still on the roam?

cant really fit another double light over my tank so i will just be careful on what corals i put in the tank witch is fine to me there are lots that will do very well with what i have. as far as flow i have 2 koralia evaluation power heads a 850 and a 1150 and i have about 650 gph from my return pump

like i said i like advise and peoples opinion i just want want to be judged this tank is my pride and joy and has been a long time in the making and i have had a total tank lose once not going there again i am taking thins slow and want my tank to be the best it can be

oh yea and as of right now the nem is staying put. not where i would like it to be but i cant control that ill deal with where ever it is in the tank as long as it is healthy

You can do another 2 bulbs, I have a 6 bulb on mine lol. Hang them from the ceiling, side-by-side. Ya know what I mean?

yea i know i can but its a matter of what the wife would say lmao she already thinks im obsessed with my tank lol i would like to get an bigger tank some day but for now ill deal with what i have and just watch what i put in it and play safe but thank you for your input by the way how is your cyano alae problem

Lights are out on the 29g bio for the next couple of days. I've cut back the feeding to just once a day. Still need to get another powerhead for the tank, but, gota wait for the budget to approve it (Budget = My Fiancee lol)
