Nice pieces, they look good. I have had bad luck with GSP (which sucks because my wife and I love it). But I have a WhiteStar Polyp that hitchhiked in ans I'd doing great go figure. o_O

I hope that I have good luck with mine because it is really nice in fact. The WhiteStar Polyps are beautiful too, glad you've been lucky with yours.

Acclimation.

I want to share with you all what happened to me when I acquired my mushroom "Mushy" . It was my first attempt of having something close enough to a coral, to gain experience. I went to the LFS and bought a mushroom that I liked. I had read about them on the Internet. One of the things I read was that they should be attached to a piece of live rock to avoid them being moved around the tank by the water current.

My mushroom didn't come attached to a rock, instead it came attached to a small pieces of sand. I had read that you could glue them to a piece of rock so I went to Home Depot and I bought the glue to do it. Because the method in which you use a rubber band to attach it to the rock or something similar didn't sound very easy to me.

When I got home I was ready to attach it to the piece of rock that I had chosen from all the small ones I have in my tank. So I left the bag with the mushroom unattended on the dinner table and went to my tank to take the piece of rock I wanted. But, when I came back to it, the bag had fell on the table and there was water everywhere on the table and the floor. The bag with the mushroom was completely empty.

I went crazy, didn't know what to do. I hadn't had the time to acclimate it yet. The mushroom had shrank a lot, so I tried to calm down myself. Then I took the glue and I glued it to the piece of rock and it shrank even more. I saw then that the glue had caught part of the mushroom so at this time I was desperate so I did the only thing I came out at that moment. I wait a few minutes to make sure it was glued to the rock and then I placed it in the bottom of my aquarium. And wish for it the best of luck to survive my neglect and lack of experience.

Now the records of what started as a tragic event.

As you can see Mushy is doing great now, and in fact is a hardy mushroom. :D

I'm thinking they are becoming a mated par, but I'm not sure, I'm not an expert lol. They have been acting different lately though. Now the one I think is the bigger one likes to be in that rock, and the other just swims around it like guarding it. Par of weirdos those fish.

love the clowns and I agree they look quite happy. and that shroom looks vary nice i had a red shroom once get the size of a tea cup plate. I hope yours get that happy and has many clones.

Thanks! Kurt. It already had one that is growing fast I will post a picture of it soon.

I see him they, love to hide. Mushy looks happy funny how every time a shroom moves it leaves a piece behind making a clone.

Pods.

This is a video of the pods that I have on my rocks. It's really difficult to see them because of their small size,
but thanks to the rock coloration is easy to do it on this video.

I found this beautiful maroon fish and anemone in one of the LFS that I like to visit. Aren't they a gorgeous pair?

How's the tank going?

My nitrates have been high for a while thanks to my brother overfeeding the fish. I've been trying to take them down little by little with 10% and 20% wc, but I'm going to do a 40% this weekend.

I have a new coral, it's a candy cane very beautiful and not too big, only have two heads. It used to have three, no idea what happened with third one, but I bought it anyway because the other two looked healthy and they're doing great.

I need your help with the ID of some algae that I have in my tank. I have no idea if it's good or not. I took the pictures to show it to you a few days ago, but I've been so busy. I will do it today.

Thanks for asking @Aquarian. :)
