May 9, 2010 #2 VAreef Reefing newb If your tank level is to low causing a waterfall effect from the filter then that can cause micro bubbles. On the other hand you could just ditch the HOB get some LR a skimmer and some snails and be in business.

May 10, 2010 #5 reeffreak Reef pro Get to one pound per gallon live rock and add powerheads for added flow. .....then remove the biowheel altogether.I am going to be honest here.They suck and aren't needed besides they get salt creep from hell.
