FOODS AND FEEDING - Meaty foods finely chopped, vitamin enriched brine shrimp, crustacean flesh, mysid shrimp, frozen preparations for herbivores. Feed min. 3 times a day.

REEF COMPATIBILITY - nips some sessile invertebrates, stony coral polyps.
CAPTIVE CARE - Can be kept in a shallow or deep water reef tank if fed frequently. Takes longer to acclimate to captivity (recommend min. 4 weeks or until eating aggressively), keep with small peaceful tankmates, will not acclimate if harassed by tankmates or too much activity in and about the tank by the aquarist. Live rock with plenty of hiding places and outcrops a plus, can be kept in pairs if introduced at the same time.
