Should be in pairs or in a small groups. This is one of the more hardy pipefish available. They prefer a mature reef system with lots of rock. The Jannss Pipefish may perform the role of a cleaner fish in an aquarium, cleaning parasites and dead flesh off of other fish in the aquarium.
