never had nitrites take this long, they have been above 1ppm for 4 days...GEEZ

You could help it along by adding some bottled bacteria.

I added LR last weekend straight from the ocean...should have live bacteria in it, just frustrating

So I have put some food in a net in my tank, I don't think I had enough of an ammonia spike to feed for the nitrites

hopefully my livestock survives on my LR

Prob around 1ppm still...ammonia is 0 and nitrates are 20ppm

I am not too worried but have cycled 3 tanks and never had one go this long with no change

yep, I have my water ready for a WC also...going to do 15G's tomorrow and 15 on Sunday, nitrates are only 20ppm

Got two Black and White Clowns today as well...got my nitrates down to 0ppm and everything else stabilized!!!
