Looking for protein skimmer

My tank has cycled and before I add Corals and fish I want to add a skimmer. I have a 45 gal Hex. Should I use a HOB or one with a sump system? any ideas?:bounce:

It's all personal preference, if you have a sump, then an in-sump skimmer is recommended, if not, then a hob skimmer will still do the job just fine.

Ive got the hob eshoops, its on my 40g mrc sump. It still does the trick! I like the clean look sumps have to offer for the display tank. It also ensures no microbubble get back too. Id personally do the sump for convience when wanting to upgrade biofiltration, but thats me....
