FOODS AND FEEDING - Meaty foods, vitamin enriched live brine shrimp, clam on the half shell, crustacean flesh, mysid shrimp, frozen preparations for carnivores. Feed min 3 times a day.

REEF COMPATIBILITY - No, eats both stony and soft coral polyps, sea anemones, mushroom anemones.
CAPTIVE CARE - Requires a very large tank with plenty of swimming room for adults, feeding of various individuals is mixed, observe feeding prior to purchase. The smaller specimens tend to acclimate more readily to captive care 2-6" (5-15 cm), once acclimated it is an aggressive feeder, can be kept with other aggressive fish if it is introduced and acclimated 1st, only one per tank should be kept and fish of similar coloration should not be mixed with this fish.
