my tank is 4'x2'x2 so that's why I need a 48in fixture. thanks for the feedback on the lights I thought the second one was better but I don't have alot of money. especially cause I need to buy some more LR
Maybe you should get your LR, a few fish in time, and stick with your current lighting for the moment while you save for the lights you really want. You can keep fish and LR with the lights you have, and buying something that you know won't cut it is just a waste of money since you will end up having to buy better lights down the road anyways for the livestock you want to keep.

thats what i was thinking too is just keep a fowlr tank until better lights can be purchased. or i have a lfs by me that sells used stuff so maybe i could buy some used lights for cheap enought that i could get new bulbs. idk ill find something
