ok wht do i need for some coarls would a 110w PC do what about a 48w t5 HO

There used to be an old thumb rule of 3 watts per gallon. There is now alot more stuff that goes into lighting nowdays but for a 22 inch tall tank I would think that rule would be good. If your just gonna do softies and LPS the PCs could do but thats it. 110w of T5 would be ideal though and should give you plenty of light for that tank.

Maybe you linked to the wrong Current fixture.That one is good for maybe softies and that is it.


You willl need a T5-HO fixture with at least four bulbs and individual reflectors since your tank is 22'' deep.The sundial is a better option from Current.

Yea I definitely did copy the wrong link, I thought it was the 6 bulb fixture

Yeah,the six bulb Nova pros would work too.I didn't recommend that one was because the tank was only 12'' wide.

I think they're 12" wide so they would fit as long as nothing is hanging on the back (overflow or hob skimmer
