Leather coral, is it normal?

Hi we just got this leather coral on Saturday. It opened up really nice but yesterday we saw it strange, and today it looks like this. I have read that it could be normal but we just want to make sure. Yesterday its started lookin like its sweetting. And today as soon as the light came on, it went away.

Looks okay. Most likely just acclimating itself to new and different conditions.

leather will occasionally do this thing where they look like they have a bad skin disease, go real scummy looking and then shed the whole mess off and then look great. almost resembles shedding skin from a bad sunburn.

The skin looks like shiny and its like yellowish i told muy husbandany times already that its Esther shedding por aclimating and it would be like that forma about two weeks he almost had a jeart atack he is afraid its goma die

ya, that sounds about right. almost looks waxy then it sheds. sometime takes a couple weeks. if its dying it will kind of collapse, fall apart, and when you take it out it stinks like hell.

Its moving and reacting to the light changes so I am OK about it
