It all depends pretty much on the brand...the better the rep the expensive they come. I personally buy most of the stuff from my LFS as they carry almost everything bulkreefsupply has. I would recommend BRS for all electrical items and dry rock, filter guys have really good RO units and craigslist for old aquariums! That's how I got mine....

Never buy live rock you will save a lot! Just buy some live rock to seed the dry rock.

I'd recommend Macrorocks for Base Rock. Decent prices on it. Get a bunch of Base rock, and one or two pieces of LR to seed the base. 1-2 pounds of rock per gallon is a good rule of thumb :)

yeah I am waitin on the nem to settle down...it has been there for 5 days now so i am hoping it will stay there....

Yup, it's a tahiti maxima. I am loving the colors these LED are bringing out from my corals.

Have you had him a while? very pretty clam for sure, nice find. Yeah, those colors really pop. The fish too. That's a tank to be proud of. :)

Had him for a month now. Found in a LFS in portland when I was visiting and got a bargain!
