I want an urchin! D: No one around here sells them except the crappy petstore of everything has ick and death D:

are they expensive at all? I'm making my trip to disneyland pretty soon and I was thinking of stopping off along the way and picking up a few dudes :)

Be careful what kind you get. My pincushion picks up everyting that's not tied down and relocates it. However, he is active during the day. My shortspine black urchin hides most of the day, but leaves my frags alone.

I don't have one either, but then I'm already tired of picking coral up that the hermits and snails knock over, so I have to pass. I do however think they are super cool.

Use some epoxy and secure everything! It's worth it for an urchin; they're my new favorite invertebrate.

I have a huge long spined urchin, the wife says while I was on the rig it was knocking everything down. I got home put everything back into place and its been 4 days and nothing is tipped over. I think she just wants to get rid of my wonderful urchin. But I will never give in, I absolutly love my urchine. i am thinking of getting a couple of tuxedo urchins for my other tank
