Help with my nano tank

I believe there are a few rules that you can follow which are obviously mere suggestions especially when you calculate a fish's territorial habits, but typically I think it's something like 1-inch of fish per 5 gallons of tank. Which kind of limits you to one fish, but if you were to get something like a goby that's more a bottom dweller and a smaller clown that doesn't typically utilize large portions of tanks anyway; you would be fine with those two.

You would be able to fit one or two fish in a nano that size, which isn't much, unfortunately. Maybe 3, but that would be pushing it. The rule of thumb, as Kid pointed out, is approximately 1 fish for every 10 gallons.
