I assume so. Haven't added any rock in like 2months and this is the first time I'm seeing it. Is it bad?

You just seeing this guy at night right? I wouldn't touch it just yet until we get a proper ID but looks interesting. Can you describe colors and other info on the creature?

The two "bulb" formations on him apparently were 2 of my snails.... Seemed to have covered them completely and killed them...
