Sorry for your loss.There is a very easy DIY screen top you can make to prevent any fish from jumping. If you want an example you can look on the last page of Jason's 120 in the show chase thread.

i know the methods of keeping fish in i was just being lazy i guess.. ill probly put egg crate on the water level
