Faucet adapter to RO made of copper

If I have a faucet adapter that is made of copper will that put copper in my RO water?
If so should I drain tank and add new water.
I called the RO manufacture and they said it would not but I am unsure if I should believe them or not.

A typical R/O system will remove copper from the feed water. I think you are ok.

Somewhere in your water supply system there IS copper. The RO will get it out.

+1. As long as its all BEFORE the RO, its fine. Everything after the filter should be pvc, nylon, food grade rubber, etc...
