CAPTIVE CARE - Will do better in a deep reef, rocky caves, hiding places, passive tankmates (gobies, comets, reef basslets, assessors, dragonets), low lighting or ability to get out of the intense reef lighting, will fight with members of its own species. A deep water fish that does not capture well and does not spend most of its time in the water column. Tends to rest on the rock work etc. Keep only one male per tank and in larger systems a proven pair or trio can be attempted with caution.
