Eric's 65-Gallon Project!

Hey Guys,

I found this guys selling a 180g Reef Ready Aquarium with stand for $300. I have looking around because I want to upgrade to a bigger tank and I think 180g would be perfect and for that price even better. The tank as dual overflows in the corners (1 in each corner). I would also have to build a canopy if I get this tank and stand and obviously upgrade some of my equipment but that would be down the road.

What do you guys think of the tank and stand for $300

Here are some pictures. The tank dimensions are 72"x24"x24"

Why do you need a canopy?

It looks like an Aqueon missionary oak stand with cherry finish. You can always order a canopy to match it.

Well here are some new pictures of the 65g. After using Purple Up for a couple of week I have notice that the coralline algae has been growing faster and the corals and anemones have colored up a lot.

Looking pretty sweet. How do you 2 yellow tangs get along with each other? Did you put them both in at the same time or a different times?

Hey guys here some new pictures of the 65g tank! I don't know if you guys notice but in some of the picture you can see some sort of air bubbles on the rocks, what might be the cause of that? I have micro bubbles coming from my sump so I don't know why those are forming.

2 of my 3 RBTA..... This was actually one that split. This one came from my LFS
