enough filteration?

My mom has a 55 gal with a 10 gal fuge & a coral life 125 skimmer is this enough for her tank or should i convince her to get something more, the problem she has is with her stand i had a bitch of a time getting the ten gallon down there and there is no real room for anything else.

That sounds like enough filtration to me...but, how much live rock and sand does she have in there. She'll need 1-2lbs of rock per gal to be efficient.

She could squeeze in a sock filter around the sumps inlet to pull out more crap.

return pump is a 600 gph what kind i have no idea the sticker is covered with coraline algae, has around 75 lbs of rock and 60 lbs of sand in dt the fuge has 2 inches of fuge mud and a 1/2 inch of sand on top, thanks for the input everyone
