Opinions needed on efficiency of end over flow boxes please. Also internal vs external and why ? Thanks
Your tank you mean. ? Or following thread. ? Lol.I have no idea, but I'm fallowing.
Understand that. But surely more water goes over a 5 foot weir than a 21/2 foot weir ?Water goes in water goes out. Same concept, different design.
:po_O:po_O The thread. ;)Your tank you mean. ? Or following thread. ? Lol.
You could have either one with the same size drain hole and they'd flow the same amount of water.Understand that. But surely more water goes over a 5 foot weir than a 21/2 foot weir ?
Thanks rob. I get that now. ! Any clever answer to powerhead question. !You could have either one with the same size drain hole and they'd flow the same amount of water.
OK, put them a little lower in the tank to allow the upper water to flow back to the overflow. Thanks rob. I get that now. ! Any clever answer to powerhead question. !
Thanks. Have been reading a bit about the peninsular and your spot on. Thanks a lot. Just panicking that this tank will be as easy & stable as the current one This one has been so darn easy compared to some & just trying to replicate ( we hope)OK, put them a little lower in the tank to allow the upper water to flow back to the overflow.
The one thing you have to remember is that waste products are lighter than saltwater so they're going to be on top. You want to let them make their way to the skimmer or whatever filtration you're using.Thanks. Have been reading a bit about the peninsular and your spot on. Thanks a lot. Have just pre-ordered the Maxspect Gyer - hoping it does what is claims, says it easily does an 8-10 foot tank ! lolThe one thing you have to remember is that waste products are lighter than saltwater so they're going to be on top.
