The temps are stable now. I unplugged the heater and keep the fan running 24/7. I did this last week. It reached 90 for just that one day, till I put the fan on it. It was at 84 one morning, when I got home from work, it was at 90. That's when I read the forum on here about the fan. What kind of buffer ?

I checked the PH when I came home from work today, it's 8.2 So, do you think that it went up because I added water yesterday ? It's low again today. That water evaporates really fast. I have the fan on it. I did turn the air conditioner on this past weekend, the temp is staying at 82*. Does anyone else have PH problems from adding water all the time ?

You should be topping off evaporated water once a day. If that's what you consider "all the time", then that's totally normal. Adding top off water should not have a big impact on your pH.

Oh, OK..... Thanks. I do top off every day. Thought maybe that was it. Well, back to the drawing board than.
