Yea its sad I spend hours infront of my live rock trying to see stuff moving! Then I spend the rest of my time reading on here! I will say since my initial purchase on Saturday My life has became engulfed with salt water aquariums!! I also have visited 4 differant stores since Saturday just to get ideas and to listen to people talk about em!

You sound so like me.When I started,I visited every fish store in a 100 mile radius.I been in this hobby for over 10 years and it still fascinates me.Great thing is you learn something new all the time,even for me.

Hermits will kill snails, it's inevitable. Even if you provide them with plenty of extra shells. Don't do water changes until your ammonia and nitrites hit zero.

I agree with this

I had some blue leg hermits that would ambush my nasarius (SP) snails at feeding time. They would sit on the rocks and when the snails uncovered themselves the hermits would run for them and eat them even though the shells were too small!!!!!. Got rid of the hermits quickly

I've seen four or five hermits all gang up on one snail before. Teamwork. It's crazy.
