hi
im going to start my 30g mini reef tank..do i have to do the cycle..i was thinking of using the water from my 125g and get some rock from there two..
cycle???/for only a coral tank

If you're using rocks and water from your established tank, then no, you shouldn't have to cycle it again.

Smitty is correct. No need to cycle...just know that u may have some instabillity issues with ur water later. U have to keep a close eye on those smaller tanks because water parameters can change so quickly.
