Custom Sump

Sooo Im tempted to use one of my Ehiem Canister filters and turn it into a sup return. Should look something like this.

I've got 4 Eheim canister classics laying around I dont know what do with lol. My 30g reef could def. use a sump for more water volume, Thought a 10g would work fine. Would save me money on the return pump.

I'd sell the canister(s) on fleabay and use the money to buy a proper return pump. ;)

you think I could get a decent price for them? 2 of them are bran new in a box. (Friend of mine had a pet store that went under and gave me a bunch of fish stuff)

I dont see why not.
I just bought an eheim classic 2213 for my fw setup... if i knew i woulda asked you first. ;)
