Corals or Fish first?

We need to know more about your tank.

But in general, fish are easier to take care of and are more forgiving to mistakes that someone new to the hobby could potentially make.

Also, Nems are very demanding needing a well established tank and would kill everything in the tank if it dies.

Anemones are not recommended in new tanks. And they require very high lighting. There are many corals that are easy to keep, but again that will depend on the type of light you have.

To be honest, i forgot the lighting specs. But i got the lighting set up from the start.

The tank isn't new. It's 1 year old.

Like the lighting that came with the tank? a flouresent one? if its one of those it most likely wont be able to support anything. Those are basically only powerful enough to allow you to see your fish.
