Coral in a shell

This was totally unexpected as I thought it was just an empty shell that I received when I bought the 65 lbs of live rock and all the corals that are in my tank.

It's small right now but is growing.

What do you think it might be?

Ah from that angle it looks like some kind of red chalice...but don't hold me to it, I'm definitely not a coral expert yet...

I was leaning toward mushroom but I saw what looked like "arms" starting to grow.

I already have a ton a mushrooms in the tank so the fact that it is a mushroom doesn't surprise me.

It does look like a mushroom that's attached to the shell.
