I have NDB guard my hand with a wooden paint stirrer whenever I do stuff near my clown's territory. She still goes after me, but she gets a wooden stick coming after her in turn.

you know what, now that i think about it its a good thing you use a lowes paint stirrer, they can change their slogan from the one they stole from home depot to lowe's supporting animal abuse since 19..

I have a plastic stick I use. That little clownfish is sneaky and speedy though!
