i just happened to pick up a couple nice (non hd but widescreen) digital camcorders last christmas at the best buy black friday sale, got 'em for $100 each.
But now i have my eye on something called a flip hd or somethng like that, its this little ipod lookn thing, but it shoots like 2 hours of hd widescreen video, and is usb downloadable, and has a hdmi port on it for plugging directly into an hd tv. at $200 i'm seriously thinking about selling the other cameras...
another option, if your wanting to save a little $$ is just go to walmart and get yourself a web cam, i got the last one i bought, for like $24 at wallyworld, plug it into the computer, and use windows built in video editor and you can do good enough and be on the cheap...
just some thoughts...
