Picked up some green ones at a frag swap today. It is a frag that has about 7-8 lil heads on it for 25 bucks. Hopefully it settles in soon and i can snap a pic of it.

Any tips of care for it. I read it likes low to moderate flow as well with lighting?

What kind of blastos? Merletti or Wellsi? Merletti's polyps are pencil-eraser sized or smaller. Wellsi's polyps are quarter sized or so.

Merlettis (the small ones) will not take food, in my experience, and are slow growers.
Wellsis (the kind I like) will readily eat and will spread relatively quickly.

You are right about the flow and light. I noticed that the rock I got recently from a trashed tank started dying off when I put it midway up my tank. Which is weird. My other blastos are midway up, and they do great. So I moved these guys down to the sandbed, and they have been recovering since I moved them.

Heres a crappy pic from my crappy camera, hope this helps.

That's very cool! Want to baby sit mine? They are dysfunctional!

I did buy some oyster eggs and sushi roe today to try out for them. Maybe they just don't like the other 30 types of food in my freezer!

Haha, i'll babysit ANY coral you have ANY time lol! Goodluck with the feeding, im going to go feed my tank now. :^:

I have to clean my glass first! I need to be able to see the corals to feed them. :grumble:

And I saw that Christian had bought some new cologne and I sprayed it on myself to smell it. So it will be a while before I can put my hands in the tank.

Maybe I should head to Harbor Freight and buy some armpit length gloves right now instead!

haha....since ive gotten my tank up i havent used lotion once and i have dry skin =(....i pretty much dont use soap on the days i think ill be in my tank...well i still shower but then i wait at least 8 hours before i go in and i rinse for about 10 minutes
