Nov 21, 2007 #1 Melonbob Reef enthusiast We are thinking of picking up a pair of filters for our 350 biowheel, just to clean things out cause our tank has alot of floaties. Is there a specific one we should get, and how often should we wash it out?

Nov 21, 2007 #3 bobby I like to do bad things. I agree with yote 100%. Be sure to clean them once a week and no later then every two weeks or you could get a nitrate problem.

Nov 22, 2007 #4 Doc I don't work for anybody I have a HOB filter and I have modified it to keep more carbon and phosguard that lasts much longer than the crappy filter junk they sell for them -Doc
