ok just was wondering to make sure should i move my return to the center of the tank and y it?

right now i have my hob overflow on the left side and my return on the right side my sump is on the left side as well

Thats fine. It provides mostly surface movement so as long as the entire top ripples, youre good. That's why it isn't counted in turnover is because it doesn't move much water below the top 3-4" or so.

well i get good top ripple out of it now and i have it pointed down some i can adjust where i i want the flow but thanks for the input

thanks everybody for the input on the corals now i have top try and make up my mind on what to start with cuz i love alot of what see (only if i were rich lmao) but i have some to think as i work on getting my powerheads
