Been reading about algae scrubber for 12 year or more. It's time.

It can really take a few weeks for a new scrubber to start growing algae in great amounts.

Thanks I was wondering how long it would take didn't think there was anything growing yet till I looked real close.

All my fish are in a HT trying to rid the tank of ick and cure the fish too. So all that is in the tank are inverts,8 Blue legged crabs, 1 banded coal shrimp, 9 Margarita Snail, 1 small horseshoe crab, and some polyps so I am only feeding about a cube and some flakes per day.

One month 4 days still getting brown. Cleaning once a week.
