Beastie

Okay, so I found some sort of creature in my aquarium, and I was hoping that you all could help me identify it. It hides in the LR in the same crevice, and I've never seen it come completely out. It appears to have multiple "arms". I've seen up to three "arms"/tentacles at one times. The tentacles are striped with alternating burgundy-brown then white repeated. Yesterday, I ripped part of the creature's tentacle off with a pair of tweezers. Pictures are below:

Yeah, I was thinking it might be some sort of brittle/serpent star or some type of weird worm...

The color schema (striped burgundy-brown & white) is weird, though...
...And I don't know why it never leaves the crevice. It's been in the same spot poking its "arms" out for about 2 months. And it's growing bigger...

I got a small brittle star 2 months ago. Once he found his crevice he has not moved. He looks close to the one you have as well. When i feed his arms come flying out of both sides of his rock. I feed him right there.

So if it is a brittle star, I shouldn't be concerned then, right? However, if it's not, then I could have a problem...?
