Anemone owners

How many of you actually have clownfish to host them? Would it be cliché for me to buy an anemone and not have a clownfish? Just wondering what everyone thinks...:Cheers:

I have clowns but don't have an anemone yet. I've heard it's hit or miss if clowns will host an anemone anyway. No guarantees. I say go for the anemone even if you don't have clowns.

I've got an anemone (with clowns but it's not a hosting species). I'm planning on putting one a clown hosting type without clowns into my 75 though.

I have 2 nems and 1 clown they are condylactis anemones so they are not popular for clowns from what I hear.

I dont think its cliche to have one or the other and not have them host. I like my clown he is pretty entertaining I dont care if he likes the nems or not.

Thanks for your opinions! I saw a bad ass nem today and wanted to buy it, jus thought maybe it would be kinda weird to have one without the other. If its still there ima buy it next week.

I don't think it's weird at all. Anemones are interesting and beautiful critters in their own right.
