Click to expand... So is there a way to get rid of it? And what caused it? I change my water every 2 weeks. And everything else checks out fine. I'm glad its not cyano.

Dec 1, 2008 #27 yote In Memoriam Sometimes,a different type of algae will just pop up no matter well we maintain our tanks.Its just the nature of the hobby. You might try sitting a couple of your snails on the patch.If that dont work,try leaving the lights for 3 or 4 days.
