Advice on my Stand?

I have a 90 watt halide on the fuge in my 110, and the tank stays at the same temperature as the house (about 79 during the day). Is that too hot?

Even if I didn't have the light it would never be colder than the house?

Would it be kinda an overkill to put one or two brackish fish in the display fuge?

The problem with that is that would be that it would add to the bioload, and most of them need 30 gallons+.

And they probably would eat the algae too.

Never mind, it's a silly idea...

and brackish fish shouldnt be in a reef . . . they require brackish water . . . . the salinity isnt going to drop just because it has gone down to the sump

Everything I've read about brackish fish says they can easily adapt to a slat water environment.

i dunno, IMO its probably not good for them long term. They have adapted to live at that salinity, their bodies probably function best at that range. Its like long-term hypo-salinity is not good for saltwater fish.
