I think I'll go with the 4 bulb teks. It would look really bad having the ballast hanging from the roof, and then I don't have to put up with the heat of the metal hallide. And it's not even much more.

I know, excuses, excuses, I think the ballasts look to complicated... :oops:

The ballast is a box. It plugs into the wall and sits on the floor. The light plugs into the ballast.

Yes. They have an external ballast.
