Pics soon, but this is what I got going on. Started cycling with piece of raw shrimp tonight.
20 pounds live black aragonite sand
3 pound piece of live rock
Hydor koralia 425gph powerhead
DIY screen lid
3wx6 clip on LED(The light I was asking about. Not sure how it will do, but it was a deal. An LFS that I visited uses them above some of his small frag tanks and all looked good so we will see).

Holding off on heater for now until I see if I will need one or not. Also going to get a HOB filter to put some chaeto in and occasionally run some carbon.10 more pounds of rock(dry) will probably be going in within the next week.
Stocking is still debatable. My son gets to pick the fish as long as he can make a wise choice on what he wants. e.g. a hippo tang is not happening LOL .
This is so different than when I started my 55. I feel like I somewhat know what i'm doing instead of heading for disaster.
