Sun corals aren't picky eaters. They will take whatever they give them. They are demanding if you aren't used to target feeding your corals, but I target feed all the corals in my tank that will take food every other day, so it's not any harder for me to have sun corals.
Thought I'd add a few of my corals, see the 1st photo, the brain coral, it is attached to live rock when I purchased it, I now know it's too high in the tank but not much I can do nowIv'e got to be careful answering you but I agree, I target feed all mine as well that will take food

Overfeeding will cause high nitrates, but sun corals need to be fed about every other day or so. That's why a good filtration system and lots of live rock is important if you keep sun corals, because you can easily spoil your water by putting so much food into the system so frequently.
