New to SW, I Want a Reef Tank!

Ughhh... My Nitrites are STILL holding at 1.0ppm... Apparently its going to be LONG cycle...

That was supposed to be 1.0 - 2.0ppm I hate those color charts, so hard to tell which shade matches the best...

Are you using API test kits? I think your supposed to remove the cap on the test vile and look down through the sample to get the true color. Most people get bad readings when the try to match the color through the side of the vile. Hth

Yes, I am using the API kit. I didn't see anywhere in the instructions about removing the cap and looking top down to match the colors. I've been trying to read it through the test tube... Thanks for the tip! I have been having trouble reading the values!

I will try this method later today. About to fall asleep, finally. I am hoping someone answers my stocking question before this afternoon...
