wont , i have had marine aquariums previously and ran skimmers on them all . granted they were trash ( the skimmers ) but they were what i could afford.
Just this tank was originally going to be custom made and made as an all in one complete with skimmer that would fit in the rear chamber.
but the tank builder seems to be messing me around and i have waited 3+ months for a price and get told "" you will have a price by end of work today "".
so i have basically given up waiting and now going to be buying an off the shelf tank in opti white glass which is still cheaper than the custom made tank , speaking to his other customers and hearing what they have been charged for tanks smaller than mine.
ive been reading up on one tank here in Scotland where the owner does not have a skimmer and only does a 30 L water change every 2nd month , and his tank is over 200 L . though using natural sea water might help lol.
just here in the UK it is seen as only nano tanks should be attempted to be kept without skimmers , and the size of tank i will be running MUST have a skimmer , but i had thought about not running a skimmer as they do make the most noise and my tank is going right behind my headboard , and i have extra sensitive hearing so no skimmer would be great lol.
