Think we're getting a Purple Haze Montipora & a Pink Stylopora this weekend! They are beautiful. :) This will be our 5th Monti, I think they're starting to eat our calcium lol

Just snapped some pretty awesome pics I must say with my little Nikon camera, used macro and flash on all of these, except the mushrooms I didn't use flash. I didn't resize these either because I didn't want to lose the quality lol. Just had to share because I love how they turned out! :cool:

This whole time I thought we had a Pink Stylophora.. it is actually purple!! LOL :)

I'm not sure anyone knows exactly why they don't do well, they tend to do fine for a while and then just start to melt. I think it's a combo of temps to warm, too much light and collection practices.

I read that it was the Indonesian that was very hard to care for and withers away.. I may be wrong though. I think we have an Aussie.. only time will tell. Hopefully it does good :)

That is true! Except you can no longer harvest elegance corals from Australia so yours has to come from Indonesia
