FOODS AND FEEDING - Meaty foods, marine fish, crustacean flesh, live grass shrimp, feeder fish, marine fare live and frozen for carnivores, feed 3-4 times a week.
AQUARIUM SUITABILITY - 8 / Venomous
REEF COMPATIBILITY - Will eat shrimp and smaller fishes.
CAPTIVE CARE - This fish is venomous and care should be exercised in handling. Plenty of hiding places, caves are a must with this fish, some specimens will refuse to eat. Keep with less aggressive tankmates. Larger specimens are aggressive toward conspecifics. Not a threat to more active fish species, lower lighting levels a plus or a deep reef system are preferred. Venomous spines beware.
