CAPTIVE CARE - A beginners fish, one of the less aggressive damsels, can be kept in small groups, provide plenty of hiding places, a male - female pair can be kept in a smaller tank, will spawn in captivity. Feeds on zooplankton and algae, will ignore invertebrates, will pick at filamentous algae, do not keep with aggressive tankmates or the more aggressive damselfishes.
