What the heck is this in mytank????

I do not have any pix as it is too far in the back but I can describe it and this is the second one I found. The first I just crumbled trying to figure out what it was.

Ok so it just looks like a King or Queens Crown.

It has the shape of a crown with dots running up the side to the top center.

It is made of a shell of some sort but I didn't put them in there.

My first though was it could have been an Urchine shell after it dies.

I have found many tiny tiny hermit crabs out of nowhere along with white Porcelain Crabs out of nowhere.

I have a few HUGE ones but maybe these dies?

I think he talking about urchin skeletons. And i think they are ones that died in your tank because they are pretty fragile and i suspect you would remember putting them in ;)

Yeah the Urchins died. For all I know the Mantis cracked them since I have occasionally seen spikes laying around.

It could have been a crab.

I still have 2 HUGE ones and I stabbed into one before.

Really? That is what a few shops told me.

I asked around and told them about my water.

By the way just to update the Waste-Away product.

I dosed last week 1/2 dose and just dosed a full last night(week later almost) and so far the hair algae is very noticeably less and the brown dots all over have slowed in reappearing.

I did it a little early so I can have Monday as my dose day for it.

I want to go post in the other thread about it.

I also started Epson Salts to raise my Magnesium. D2Mini gave me the site to measure it so I mixed it right and will check tomorrow after about 2/3 of the recommended dose.

I may check tonight. Once I get it to where I want I will wait one week and see the dose needed and then try to get a routine. I will always check before I add each week because I figure that will change here and there as they grow.
